Management Team 

Dr. Kumar brings over 20 years of industrial experience in management and development of products, standards, new programs, and businesses. He has been involved in various technologies covering P2P, WiFi, WiMAX, and Terabit Networks. He held senior management positions at Intel where he developed programs/businesses in IP Telephony, Mobile Internet, and Internet infrastructure. He represented Intel at the ITU-T where he was the principal architect of Internet telephony protocols and author of various standards in the ITU-T's H.323 series of recommendations. He co-authored a book entitled “IP Telephony with H.323”, and holds several patents and publication in this field. Earlier in his industrial career at Intel and Tektronix he gained a unique experience in the architecture, design, and implementation of both hardware and software. He developed products such as digitizers, oscilloscopes, and super computers. He received PhD, MS and BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering from Iowa State University.
